Information stored
An account stores your name, email address, protected password hash, preferred language and timezone. Sessions, email verification, acknowledgements and important actions are recorded to manage access.
Where data is held
This local instance stores account and family data in local PostgreSQL and local file storage. Registration does not send it to ainmax.com. Transactional messages are placed in a protected local mailbox.
Access
The server enforces access controls. Living people are private by default. Collaboration uses separate invitations and permissions. Registration does not publish documents, photographs or trees.
Separate choices
DNA, cross-site matching and material exchange require separate settings and consents. External provider buttons do not transmit data while those sign-in providers are unconfigured.
Controls and help
Settings provide privacy, security, import, export and data-management tools. The help library explains these actions. Local support drafts are not automatically sent to an external operator.
